I would never forget my initial meeting with Michelle + Rob – it was a warm Wine Country night and we met in Santa Rosa for appetizers while they were on their way to see Dancing with the Stars! I thought it was awesome and as Jay + I got to know them better, it was so them! These two are great – unassuming, have a great sense of humor and are really wonderful people that come from lovely families. Their wedding day was so personal – they both got ready at their parents homes in which they grew up in, surrounded by their immediate family and closest friends. The atmosphere was relaxed and calm. Their Kohl Mansion Wedding was beautiful. We arrived at the Mansion, having rode in the limousine together with Michelle + her parents, who were delightful, attentive and loving toward their daughter. As we exited the car, the wind began to pick up and it started to mist at this January Wedding. With her bridesmaids dressed in floor length chiffon, Tiffany blue gowns by her side, they were troopers and stood outside for a few minutes for some posed portraiture.
Michelle, donning a beautiful Casablanca Bridal Gown, met eyes with Rob in the library at the Kohl Mansion – a place where Michelle spent much of her time while attending Mercy High School. “Always a Mercy Girl,” she always knew she wanted to have a Kohl Mansion Wedding. Pico Soriano’s floral designs tastefully and elegantly decorated the tables in the Grand Ballroom. After dinner guests enjoyed Mazetti’s Bakery’s 4-tiered gorgeous (and outstanding!) cake and homemade biscotti and cookies made by Michelle’s mother, grandmother, and aunt.
Congratulations Michelle + Rob! Your Kohl Mansion Wedding was beautiful, memorable, and we were grateful to have been a part of it. xo, Jackie + Jay
