A Mark Hopkins San Francisco Wedding with timeless beauty, intricate attention to detail, and a beautiful venue to start your week off right! We photographed this beautiful Wedding at Old St. Mary’s Cathedral in San Francisco with reception at the Intercontinental Mark Hopkins Hotel in Nob Hill. Every detail of this classic San Francisco Wedding was timeless; from the intricate lace detail in Nancy’s gown to the beauty and grandeur of two of San Francisco’s oldest and most prestigious venues, this wedding was glorious!
We photographed Nancy and James’ Engagement Session at Santa Clara University where we had the opportunity to get to know each other better. I was delighted to see how in love they were, to hear all about how they met and fell in love, and to learn about their wonderful, close-knit families. Nancy was a flawless bride, photographing beautifully along with her attentive bridesmaids who made sure that she was well cared for during her Wedding day. James was jovial and relaxed and I was touched when I saw the tears in his eyes as he saw Nancy for the first time as she walked down the aisle at Old St. Mary’s Cathedral. After the Ceremony, Jutta Lamberts of A Day Like No Other designed, coordinated, and orchestrated Nancy and James’ Wedding Reception flawlessly.
From the time guests gathered at the Intercontinental Mark Hopkins and were greeted with tray-served sparkling wine and popcorn during the cocktail hour in the Room of the Dons with Pianist Harry Likas performing, to Mariachi Nueva Generacion performing during dinner. The intricate attention to detail continued with Cookies n’ Cream and Honey Rose custom cotton candy passed out to guests during dancing and sliders and mac ‘n cheese served as late night snacks as Nancy dj’d into the night and handed out the fabulous foam glow sticks, adding to the fun! Not a detail was missed! What a day!
