When I met Gina and Kelechi for breakfast at a bakery in the San Francisco Marina one weekend, saw those big beautiful smiles on their faces, and listened as they described their upcoming San Francisco Wedding they were beginning to plan, I knew Jay and I were in for a treat.  Jay and I look back at their wedding and the first word that comes to mind is relationships.   With 12 bridesmaids and groomsmen at their side, Gina and Kelechi had a beautiful, elegant affair that was filled with fun!  From the getting ready that started at 5:30am at Intercontinental The Mark Hopkins, to the cable car ride to and from the Hotel and Saints Peter and Paul Church, Gina, Kelechi, their family and closest friends spent the day together celebrating the union of two close knit, wonderful families from opposite ends of the globe.

There were beautiful, touching moments throughout the day between Kelechi and his groomsmen as they got ready, helping each other put on and straighten bow ties,  and share a few drinks together, between Gina and her Grandfather as he arose from his chair to dance with her for a minute or two.  Between Gina and her bridesmaids when they saw her in her gown for the first time, and between Kelechi and his brother when he spoke about their relationship and dynamic growing up that had us all laughing.

Gina and Kelechi, we are grateful to have been part of your beautiful, fun, and memorable day.  The warmth and sincerity both you and your families, and those closest to you showed us, touched us and we will remember your day always.

Jenny and Mike were married on a beautiful summer day at the Healdsburg Country Gardens.  The weather could not have been any more perfect.  Throughout the buzz of excitement that was in getting ready, the sun was shining and the temperature lended itself to the Bridesmaids sitting on the deck of the Wine Country Home on-site, applying the finishing touches to their bouquets.  The bridegroom and his groomsmen adjusted their ties and put on their argyle socks in the Cottage with the blinds drawn, as Jenny walked through the Garden taking her Bridal Portrait.  The Cottage heated up, but the mood within was joyful and fun as each one assisted another in straightening their tie or pouring a shot of whiskey into the “Keep calm and eat bacon” shot glasses.  Jenny and Mike met eyes as Jenny and her Father rounded the meandering garden path, around the corner and down the aisle.  Jenny dazzled in a lace, vintage inspired gown.  Mike and Jenny were married under the majestic Cork Oak Tree overlooking the vineyards.  Guests enjoyed cocktail hour with cheeses and fruits and a beautifully catered dinner.  The bride and groom gave attention to every detail from the hand-painted fruit and vegetable table number centerpieces, raffia-wrapped program fans, lavender hung in the barn, wood signs directing guests to various aspects of the wedding and venue, signature cocktails, smores station, homemade cupcakes, to wine cork escort cards.  As the evening brought a chill to the air, Jenny and her bridesmaids put on their chambray shirts and cowboy boots and danced with guests in the barn.

Throughout the evening, Jay and I were struck by the sincerity and depth of relationship Jenny and Mike have with their family and friends.  The speeches during dinner were delivered and met with laughter and tears, and exemplified the intimate nature of their wedding.  The glances Mike gave Jenny and the consistent attention they payed toward one another, were touching and captured on our cameras with not-so dry eyes behind.

Congratulations Jenny and Mike, our love to you both as you begin your life together.
